Online LTC Class and Proficiency Shooting Test Package
Ready to get your License to Carry (also known as LTC, concealed carry permit, Concealed Handgun License, or CHL)?
This package is perfect for you. You will take the online LTC course and then schedule your LTC proficiency shooting test with our instructor, Dick Ellis.
The online course takes 4-6 hours to complete. During the proficiency demonstration, you will receive an additional 1-2 hours of training before beginning the proficiency shooting test.

In this 1-2 hour demonstration, you will learn how to safely and properly handle a handgun and conduct the course of fire before completing the proficiency shooting test. During this time, the instructor will assess and evaluate your knowledge and attitude toward safety and others.

LTC/CHL Refresher Course
Make sure you are up to date on the laws! This course is for current LTC holders and could keep you out of jail.
In this 2.5 hour class, you will learn about new laws and legislative updates for carrying a gun in the state of Texas. This includes updates on weapons laws, gun storage, safe handling, and non-violent dispute resolution.

Firearm Rental
Need to rent a handgun for your proficiency shooting test? Frisco Concealed Handgun has a selection for you! Please note that you will need to provide your own eye and ear protection, and firearm rentals need to be paid via Venmo prior to arriving for range qualification.

Submit LTC Application to the Texas Department of Public Safety
Finished the online course and range qualification? It’s time to submit your application to the Texas Department of Public Safety. They will verify that you have completed each of the steps and run a background check before issuing your License to Carry.
